Kazakhtelecom to connect 60 villages to fibre-optic network this year

Around 60 villages in North Kazakhstan will be connected to fibre-optic network infrastructure by the end of the year, news agency Strategy2050.kz cites Kazakhtelecom’s General Director Alim Shukenov as saying. In total, more than 200 settlements in the region will be covered by the majority state-owned firm’s fibre backbone network by 2020
