FTTH APAC Conference 2016


FTTH APAC Conference 2016 brought together the most critical players operating in Asia’s FTTH market and enabled two days of extensive discussion and networking. Thank you to everyone who had contributed to the success of the conference this year and to all of our delegates, sponsors and speakers for your continued support for FTTH Council Asia-Pacific and the future of this industry.

Thailand offered the perfect location for this year’s event which took place from the 17 & 18 May 2016 at the Shangri-La hotel, Bangkok. The great and the good from Asia’s leading telecom operators, Government representatives, FTTH vendors and manufacturers made up the delegation of over 400 senior executives that attended the event.

The FTTH APAC Conference 2016 has been officially opened by Mr. Pansak Siriruchatapong, Vice Minister for Information & Communication Technology, Ministry of ICT, Thailand on 17th May, followed by Mr. Vichaow Rakphongphairoj, Group COO, TRUE Corporation. The following speaker was Mr. Cedric Lam, Engineering Director at Access Services, Google. On the 2nd day the Conference’s opening keynote was presented by Mr. Ioane Koroivuki, Regional Director, ITU. Also With over 50 speakers sharing their insights and experiences throughout the event, all the critical aspects of the market dynamics were well covered within the programme. This year there were a total of 31 exhibitors took part in the exhibition.


We had proudly got TRUE as our host sponsor this year, Corning as the Gold sponsor, DSM as a Silver & MeetMe sponsor, also Calix, CommScope, CYIENT as Silver sponsors. Associate sponsors included Fujikura, Sumitomo Electric, VIAVI Solutions and lastly but not the least the gala dinner was sponsored by Huawei.
